There is a lot of talk about the Pacific Garbage Patch and about the danger of plastics in our oceans. Scientists estimate one million sea birds die of plastic pollution every year. Here is a short video David has made, sent straight from the Pacific itself, explaining further about what prompted him to embark on the Plastiki mission and how the little pieces of plastic end up in our food chains.
