For the last two weeks three of London’s most historic houses have opened up their gardens to host the START Initiative’s Garden Parties.

START, a national initiative by The Prince’s Charities Foundation, aims to bring sustainable living into the public arena and hope that the Garden Parties will inspire people to take clear, positive and practical steps towards a better future. Which means the events will be packed full of some inspirational speakers such as Sir David Attenborough and our very own David de Rothschild. Exhibition areas will also feature the newest of green technology from bicycle powered laptops to eco-homes, plus music, kids activities and a great fashion area curated by Dame Vivienne Westwood.

So if you want to come and explore the future of sustainable living then come down to either Clarence (where David will be speaking on Sunday 19th), Marlborough or Lancaster House gardens up until the 19th September. See ticket information here.
