Here’s a round up of some of the great designs, products and ideas that were displayed at the Garden Party to Make a Difference at the weekend…

The Pallet House.
A structure made out of reclaimed wooden pallets

Polli-Bricks are made out of 100% recycled PET polymer quarried from the waste stream, the material is a cost effective building material and also allows daylight into a building whilst keeping the heat from escaping. It also resembles the Plastiki hulls!

Keep Cup.
So you’ve probably just about kicked the plastic bottle habit (we hope), but what about those pesky coffee cups? Enter Keep Cup, the barista standard sized cup that even gets you discounts at some large chains. Nice.

The Aquatina is a reusable plastic bottle that can compress to a third of it’s size…perfect for taking on the plane to avoid the liquid restrictions, or squeezing into your travelling back pack.

Ringmer College Bottle Pavilion
Working with Wilmott Dixon Construction on a sustainability project, Ringmer College created this pavilion using plastic bottles.

People Powered Dance Floor
Using the kinetic energy of the dancers this dance floor generates energy to power speakers and dj equipment, so you can party with an easy conscience!
