Wyatt Workman, a 7 year old from California, recently got in touch with us to tell us all about his art project which aims to bring attention to plastic pollution in our oceans and raise money to help clean it up.

“I think what you do to help people learn about yucky plastic in the ocean is really important. You are right, it’s important to help the ocean. It is blue and beautiful and has a lot of cool sea animals in it. If we don’t take care of it, it will die and that will be crazy.”

It’s a pretty ambitious project for a summer beak, but Wyatt has done amazingly well and has created not only a super cool ‘claymation’ but a book as well! You can watch the animation online here.

He’ll be displaying his summers hard work at his art show on November 7th at Dari Boutique, 12184 Ventura Blvd California so why not head down and check it out. What’s more, Wyatt will be donating all proceeds to the ocean charity Oceana.
